The Carberry Family Website

About the Website (updated 6-8-05)

We thought it would be fun to have a website where we can post some of our recent photographs, as well as some other photos and links that we think our friends may enjoy.

Click on any of the links (on the left) that may interest you. As you will find out, this site is still a "work in progress". For example, you will have to use your "back" button to return to previous pages. (I will add return buttons on each page later.) Anyhow, look at those that may interest you.

By the way, please keep in touch. Send us an email (or write or call). Actually, the real reason for making this site is that Ed just wanted to do it. For some reason he enjoys frustrating, but fun computer stuff!

To keep you somewhat up to date, we have included brief notes about each of the Carberrys below. Ed will try to keep it updated, but you know how that goes!

Cristin Cristin is now teaching fourth grade at Truscot School in Loveland, Colorado, and she loves it! She just signed a more permanent contract so will be staying out west. Her home is in Greeley, and she is just a short drive from the mountains. Other big news includes the purchase of a super cool 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport (see link above).

Dan Dan and Kristen Smith will became man and wife on June 4th. See the WEDDING PHOTO LINK! TheY just bought a new old-home that is really great. Dan continues to work as a VP at Benfeld-Blanch (Minneapolis office) where he advises insurance companies on reinsurance issues. Kristen (note the confusion with Cristin!) is a paralegal, also in Minneapolis. Kristen brings two energy-filled cats to the Carberry family -- watch out dogs!

Linda Nearly done with preschool activities, she is spending more and more time out in the yard. Schwans still continues all summer, but her church bell choir will also have a seasonal respite. It's hard to believe, but she is really enjoying her own computer, so don't hesitate to send her some news (linda@mgls.com).

Ed Although classes are done at SMSU, most of his classes through the high school Challenge Program will continue into June. He too has been working outside and continues his two long walks/runs with the dogs, regardless of weather. Visits to Blackduck are certain to become more frequent -- it is time to plant corn up there again, and get the garden going.

Sancha Although Sancha is now eleven years old, she is still spry in her own "Sancha way". She is definitely a dog with an attitude, and she loves her place as queen of the dogs. And the season for getting in the water has arrived again. She is a happy dog.

Marty Marty has the energy and temperment you would expect of a border collie (He is a border collie). On our walks/runs he is always about 100 yards away -- in what direction is anyone's guess. He is the first dog any visitors want to pet.

Kia Once again, Kia is spending the summer with us, and she is a welcome addition to our doggie family. She is always full of energy, spunkiness and cuteness. Also, she is the "loveable" one of the bunch. Everyone should have three dogs around!
Fish Linda's four fish are still swimming around and eating. It seems like that is what fish do. Ed does not take them for walks, and they rarely express their opinions about anything, so that's pretty much all we can write about them.
